A weekend of target shooting, colonial trades, and crafts.

• Workshops and sales by "Trapper Jon" Enos (expert atlatl thrower, hunter, and modern "mountain man"

Special event: Thunderbird Atlatl Workshop with Robert Berg
Saturday, September 22, 10 a.m.- 2 p.m.

Make your own atlatl and six-foot darts! Berg, a professional woodworker and longtime atlatl maker and thrower, will teach participants how to make and then use an atlatl and darts. Lunch is provided. Fee: $60.

 Atlatls are wood or bone implements used to propel a spear, functioning almost as a lever. These tools were used by Native Americans to hunt.
