To celebrate National Women's History Month and promote the
Salem
Women's Heritage Trail,
Bonnie Hurd Smith planned a series of lectures with the help of the
researchers and scholars who had assisted with the Women's Heritage
Trail. Between 30-50 people attended each lecture.
Held at the Salem Maritime National
Historic Site Visitor Center, these free evening lectures
included:
