Massachusetts Lieutenant Governor Kerry Healey was the keynote
speaker for the 2003 Annual Meeting of the Salem Partnership, the
organization's 10th anniversary, which was held at Salem's historic
Hawthorne Hotel and attended by over 150 members, friends, and local
dignitaries. The evening netted a healthy profit for the
organization.
Tasks:
As part of Hurd Smith's organizational
management services for The Salem Partnership, Bonnie Hurd Smith:
• planned the program, menu, and ceremonial details
• designed, distributed, and fulfilled invitations
• managed lists of attendees and monies taken in
• worked closely with the Lt. Governor's office, the Mayor of
Salem's office, and with hotel function staff
• sold ads for, wrote, and designed the program book, including
soliciting letters of congratulations from legislative delegation
